5 Amazon products recalled by the CPSC that could harm your health
This week, the following items were added to the CPSC recalls website:
Creekwood Naturals 100% Natural Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine Bottles
According to the CPSC, around 9,000 turpentine bottles were recalled because they lacked child-resistant packaging, which put youngsters at danger of poisoning.
From June 2023 until May 2025, the bottles were offered for sale on the Creekwood Naturals website, Etsy, Amazon, and eBay, with prices ranging from $20 to $40.
As of now, no injuries have been recorded.
The transparent glass container containing the Gum Spirits of Turpentine has a brown label with letters in red, black, and white. Turpentine and either Pure Gum Spirits or Quality Gum Spirits are printed on the label’s front panel.
Customers are advised to keep bottles out of children’s reach and ask Creekwood Naturals, the third-party vendor, for a complimentary child-resistant cap.
For additional information, call Creekwood Naturals at 877-754-1776, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, or send an email to [email protected].
FENGQS F7 Pro E-bikes
According to the CPSC, 13 incidents of lithium ion battery overheating resulted in two fires and $4,000 in property damage, prompting the recall of about 100 e-bikes.
Users using e-bikes run a high risk of burns and fires due to the lithium ion battery’s tendency to overheat.
The battery has a label on the front that shows its capacity (21.5Ah) and the manufacture date (2024/4/21), and the model number F7 Pro is printed close to the rear wheel.
The device, which retailed for between $700 and $1,200, was offered for sale on Amazon from May to December 2024.
Customers who properly dispose of these lithium ion batteries at hazardous waste facilities will receive a complete refund, according to the CPSC.

According to the CPSC, Apollo is recalling roughly 790 of its City Model Year 2024 Electric Scooters because of a flaw in the scooter’s weld line that might cause it to crack, allowing the rider to fall and sustain injuries.
Four riders were reported to have fallen off the scooter, and one of them had abrasions as a result, according to the business.
These reports were among the ten cases in which the scooter’s stem’s weld cracked.
According to the CPSC, the scooters were offered for approximately $1,800 from June 2024 to April 2025 at Best Buy stores across the country as well as online at Apolloscooters.co, Amazon, and BestBuy.com.

A youngster might become stuck as a result, suffering severe injuries or possibly dying.
Between December 2024 and April 2025, these safety gates were offered for sale on Amazon.
The gates came in black, gray, and white and were marketed under the model number LT-BG01-3.
