The Bayville On the evening of July 1, the Bayville Volunteer Fire Company posted on social media that firefighters from various agencies responded to a structure fire on Morris Boulevard.
The call was received at around 9:40 p.m. Upon arriving on the scene, Chief 1700 verified that the fire was operational.
Following a scene assessment, he created Bayville Command and designated Captain 1720 as the Operations Officer.
Engine 1731, Rescue 1713, Engine 1741, Ladder 1725, and Utility 1724 were among the responding equipment from Station 17. While other local agencies gave mutual aid support, crews carried out fire control activities.
The Berkeley Township Police Department, Berkeley Township First Aid Squad, Ocean County Fire Coordinators, Pine Beach Fire Company, Lanoka Harbor Fire Company, Pinewald Pioneer Fire Company, Forked River Fire Company (Rapid Intervention Team), and Manitou Park Fire Company were among the assisting agencies.
The Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office is still looking into what caused the fire.
