WHITING With the appointment of Administrator Meir Silver and Director of Nursing Tina Vasu, AristaCare at Whiting is looking to the future as it celebrates 25 years of service to the community.
Silver brings a patient-centered mindset and a dedication to creating a caring and connected care environment to AristaCare, having managed a skilled nursing facility with 180 beds before. Both staff and residents are already feeling energized by his leadership style, which has been characterized as personable and people-focused.
Vasu has left a lasting impression with her clinical knowledge and leadership since taking on her position a little more than a month ago. According to facility representatives, she has worked to improve the quality of care for residents, encourage staff development, and strengthen internal systems.
