Yet another “Big Brother 27″ houseguest’s dream of winning the $750,000 grand prize has been crushed.
Amy Bingham became the second person eliminated from
“Big Brother 27″
during the Thursday, July 24, episode of the CBS reality series. She was evicted by a unanimous vote.
“I feel like I didn’t get a chance to play the game,” Bingham told “Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves after her elimination, noting that her connection to previous winner Rachel Reilly “hurt” her game.
Earlier this week, Head of Household Jimmy Heagerty nominated Keanu Soto, Kelley Jorgensen, and Adrian Rocha for eviction. But two secret powers significantly complicated Jimmy’s HoH reign.
First, Keanu activated his “Mystery Competitor” power, which gave him two chances at winning the Power of Veto competition. In addition to competing for himself, “Big Brother 20″ champion Kaycee Clark also competed on Keanu’s behalf.
Kaycee pulled out a win, proving once again that she is the Veto queen. Keanu took himself off the block, and Jimmy nominated Amy in his place.
At the Veto meeting, Kelley activated a power of her own. After successfully completing a solo puzzle within a fixed timeframe, Kelley won a second Power of Veto.
Kelley used the power to save herself, forcing Jimmy to name a fifth nominee. He chose Will Williams.
