An alumni of Big Brother 27 For her eviction, Amy Bingham is accepting full responsibility.
Amy, 43, told Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves that she didn’t get a chance to participate before her friendship with returning participant Rachel Reilly put a target on her back when her other houseguests unanimously voted her out of the game on Thursday, July 24.
After spending some time away from home, Amy believes that additional reasons had a role in her removal. Specifically, her relationship with Ashley Hollis, a house target, and her choice to advise Vince Vinny Panaro to go after Jimmy Heagerty, an ally.
That gaming was awful. That’s the main reason I’m not at home. Amy told NJ.com exclusively, “I’m out because of my big mouth, talking to Vinny about Jimmy.” She also acknowledged how much she regrets begging Vince, in tears, not to nominate Ashley in the first week, which led to her and Ashley ending up on the same block.
Amy said, “I’m such a baby, like, I don’t know why I did that.”
In the end, Amy discovered that Big Brother was far more difficult than she had expected.
She recalled that from the first day, everyone was playing really hard and plotting until three or four in the morning every night. To be honest, I wasn’t mentally ready for it. I’m not sure, but I tried my hardest. Since that’s all I know how to be, I wanted to play an honest game and be true to myself.
Then Amy started crying and said, “Perhaps I’m a bad player.” I suppose I am, but I’m not sure.
Because they were the only moms in the house, Amy and Rachel bonded to form the Mom Squad during her time on Big Brother. According to NJ.com, Amy was worried that her children would be angry that she had put herself in danger by alerting Vince about Jimmy and didn’t want to let them down.

Amy stated of her children, “They’re so proud of me just for going on and trying and playing the game.” With what I now know, I would have approached the game quite differently, but hindsight is 20/20. You can’t lead with love and light, which is what I truly intended to accomplish. I had no idea what was going through my mind.
Amy is cheering for Ashley or Rachel to win even though she is not at home. Additionally, she hopes that Rachel will soon win Head of Household and cease the safe gameplay that has defined the season so far.
On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, Big Brother is broadcast on CBS and Paramount+. On Paramount+, episodes can be streamed the day after they air.
