The television version of the classic children’s horror book series Goosebumps is ending, which is bad news for kids from the 1990s.
Variety announced earlier this month that Goosebumps, a Disney+ series that debuted in October 2023, would not be returning for a third season. The publication claims that Sony Pictures Television intends to approach other channels about acquiring the series and investigate various creative directions for the Goosebumps intellectual property.
Zack Morris (Isaiah), Isa Briones (Margot), Miles McKenna (James), Ana Yi Puig (Isabella), Will Price (Lucas), Rachael Harris (Nora), and Justin Long (Mr. Nathan Bratt) were the main cast members of Goosebumps’ first season.
A fresh group of characters, including a former Friends cast memberSeason 2 saw the introduction of Ana Ortiz (Jen) and David Schwimmer (Anthony Brewer). In January, the second season debuted.
A number of well-known Goosebumps novels were mentioned in the television series, such as One Day at Horrorland and Stay Out of the Basement in season two and The Haunted Mask and Night of the Living Dummy in season one. The 2023 Goosebumps television adaptation was not an anthology series, in contrast to the 1995–1998 original.
