A well-liked children’s show has been renewed by Disney.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ was renewed for two more seasons less than a month after the launch of season one. In the history of Disney+, the animated interactive series had the largest original Disney Jr. launch.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which ran on the Disney Channel’s preschool block from 2006 until 2016, is being revived as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+. Two songs from the revival will be familiar to viewers of the original series: Hot Dog and the opening theme, both of which were composed and performed by the alternative rock group They Might Be Giants.

Disney+ announced the renewal of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ along with the release of two new kid-friendly series: Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends and Cars: Lightning Racers.

The Pixar film series of the same name served as the inspiration for the new Cars program. In Cars: Lightning Racers, a number of the original cast members will return to their roles, including Tony Shalhoub (Luigi), Larry the Cable Guy (Tow Mater), and Owen Wilson (Lightning McQueen).

The first-ever Avengers series for young children will be Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends. Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Thor, and Black Widow are among the well-known Marvel superheroes that will appear on the show.

Bret Iwan (Mickey Mouse), Kaitlyn Robrock (Minnie Mouse), Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck), Tress MacNeille (Daisy Duck), and Bill Farmer (Goofy) are among the voices in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+. With the exception of Robrock, every celebrity contributed their voices to the first Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

For many years, Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor, who are married, served as Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s official voices, respectively. Iwan replaced Allwine in season 4 of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse when Allwine passed away in 2009. Robrock took Taylor’s place after her death in 2019.
