A passion for party-planning inspired a local to open Nazareth-area event center

Kim Frailey has enjoyed organizing and hosting parties for the past 20 years, adding unique themes and décor to each gathering.

She added that her three kids are her life in addition to this interest. They were referred to be her three hearts.

Three Hearts Event Center was created as a tribute to her children and her passion for event organizing.

Frailey plans to open the Three Hearts Event Center in early October. Situated in Lower Naazareth Township at 822 Nazareth Pike, the 3,000-square-foot space can hold up to 100 people.

She expects that the venue will be used by her clientele to celebrate life’s major events, including retirement parties, marriages, baby showers, birthday celebrations, graduations, and holiday get-togethers.

A number of reservations have already been made for later in October, and she plans to have a big launch party on October 4.

According to Frailey, a four-hour event at the facility will cost $800, which includes two hours for setup and one hour for cleaning. Additionally, she is completing the possibilities for themed packages and accessories like chafing dishes and centerpieces.

The company is currently working on a website to manage reservations and questions.

Frailey, who is working toward a degree in hotel management with a concentration in corporate event design, said organizing her daughter’s Sweet 16 celebration strengthened her conviction that she could help others with party planning.

Frailey remarked, “This isn’t the first party I planned with her Sweet 16.” To amuse in any way I can is my life’s ambition.

Customers will be able to bring their own food and drinks to the center’s flexible rental area. Tables, chairs, and linens are included in basic rentals; extra packages offer buffet supplies, themed centerpieces, balloon or floral arches, and bar setups.

In addition to providing the space, she hopes to help clients arrange the events if they so choose.

“I have the vision of someone who wants something done, but I will also be able to rent out the space to someone who just wants a basic kind of package,” she added.

In addition to organizing a 50th birthday party with a Havana theme for next year, she recently met with a client who was organizing a Sweet 16 party to brainstorm a theme.

Frailey created a modern, neutral design for the room that could be used for a variety of events. The interior will have new epoxy flooring with a white-and-black marble pattern, cream-colored walls, and a black accent wall.

According to her, it’s a blank canvas that lets the decorations from each event shine.

We’re still working on this interior design.

The building needs some modest cosmetic modifications and was once occupied by ServiceMaster. While working with contractors to install new fixtures and event elements like a bar, Frailey stated that structural alterations were not required.

Obtaining Lower Nazareth Township’s zoning and parking capacity approvals was necessary before the event center could open. Frailey claimed that the number of steps—including creating an LLC and negotiating a lease—had surprised her.

She claimed that it took a long time. However, I find it more exciting. I can go to the following phase. All of those items are crossed off my list.

In addition to launching the center, Frailey is thrilled to meet new people and realize their ideas.

Making people happy and giving them what they want for their celebration is something I truly like, she said.
