After

Zae Frederich was evicted

by a vote of 9-5 during the Thursday, July 17, episode of “Big Brother 27,” Vince Panarao’s Head of Household reign officially ended.

Jimmy Heagerty

then won the second HoH competition of the season.

Jimmy’s win comes after he called out Keanu Soto at the first Veto meeting, declaring that he was “gunning” for him. He and Keanu later seemingly made peace, but Jimmy said in the Diary Room that he still plans to target Keanu.

Getting Keanu out this week could be an uphill battle, though, as Jimmy isn’t the only person who won big during the HoH competition. There were also special powers up for grabs during the comp, and Keanu, Kelley Jorgensen, and Mickey Lee walked away with secret advantages.

According to conversations heard on the live feeds, Keanu can now double his chances at winning a Veto competition, while Kelley earned an opportunity to win a second Veto. Similar to BB26’s Leah Peters’ Jankie Power of Veto, it sounds like Kelley will win an additional Veto if she successfully completes some kind of solo task.

Mickey, meanwhile, won the ability to overthrow any HoH between now and the jury phase of the game. The overthrown HoH will have a chance to interrogate the houseguests, and if they correctly identify Mickey as the saboteur, they will remain in power.

It’s possible that the powers will interfere with Jimmy’s plans this week, as he wants to nominate both Kelley and Keanu for eviction, with Keanu being the target. He’s also thinking of putting up Adrian Rocha as a pawn.
