The Easton Main Street Initiative
is bringing back a campaign to support small businesses in the city, with stores offering deals and specialty items.
“Easton Loves Local” Retail Week, now in its second year, will run from Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 27. According to a news release, the initiative will highlight the variety of businesses in Easton and encourage more foot traffic downtown during the summer months.
Modeled after
Easton Restaurant Week
, the campaign aims to create a buzz around downtown’s retail community.
During the event, participating businesses will offer limited-edition products and exclusive items available only for that week.
For example,
Nyche
clothing boutique will offer a limited edition “Easton” tote bag.
Clever Girl Winery
will preview a new red wine that will officially release in September, while
Metropolitan Ink & Beauty Bar
will offer 30% off all spa services.
“It’s about celebrating the creativity and diversity of our retail community — and giving people a fun reason to explore Easton’s independent shops,” Julie VanOsdol, director of Easton Main Street Initiative, said in the release.
