Is ‘Camp Rock 3’ happening? Jonas Brothers fans think so

Published On:

Some people believe that Demi Lovato’s surprise participation at a recent Jonas Brothers concert portends the arrival of Camp Rock 3.

The existence of a third Camp Rock film has not yet been formally confirmed. But according to websites like Pop Tingz and FilmBuzzr, Lovato and the Jonas Brothers will be joining the project when it starts filming in September.

In a June Patreon post, industry insider Daniel Richtman also asserted that Tim Federle, the developer of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, is leading the development of Camp Rock 3. According to him, a new character named Sage would appear in the film.

In the 2008 Disney Channel Original Camp Rock and its 2010 follow-up, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Lovato costarred with Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas. Joe portrayed her love interest, Shane Gray, a pampered pop star with a secretly lovely side, while Lovato played Mitchie Torres, a naturally gifted camper with a lot to prove.

On Sunday, August 10, Lovato performed at the Jonas Brothers’ first gig of their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour at MetLife Stadium. This Is Me, Gotta Find You, and Wouldn’t Change a Thing are Camp Rock songs that she and Joe sang in duet.

Five years after Lovato informed Harper’s Bazaar that she had lost contact with the Jonas Brothers, the touching reunion takes place. The singer of Skyscraper had a brief relationship with Joe in 2010, and there are unsubstantiated reports that she briefly dated Nick in 2016. According to the duet performed at MetLife Stadium, Lovato is now friendly with both of his brothers.

Although Camp Rock 3 is now only a rumor, let’s hope that we soon receive some more specific information. Although Lovato’s reunion with the Jonas Brothers was a huge hit, the youth of the 2000s are demanding more!
