According to state police, a female driver who lost control of her vehicle and collided with the JEI Learning Center in Lower Macungie Township on Tuesday avoided major injuries.
The accident occurred at the building in the 6900 block of Hamilton Boulevard just after 8 a.m., according to Trooper Nathan Branosky, public information officer with Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M, who spoke to lehighvalleylive.com.
Branosky informed lehighvalleylive.com that the 68-year-old driver from Lower Macungie was driving a 2016 BMW X3 in the parking lot when she lost control and collided with Suite 230 in the learning center building.
Neighboring Suite 235 was also damaged in the disaster. According to Branosky, the structure was empty when the disaster occurred.
According to state police, the woman received on-scene treatment for minor wounds.
Suite 230 and Suite 235 were both closed as of Tuesday afternoon.
With the help of the Lower Macungie Township Fire Department, the Pennsylvania State Police Patrol Unit in Fogelsville is investigating this collision.
