My hair might feel and look like it’s been through a lot after spending months by the pool and in the sun. That was the case, at least, once.
I always use this hair mask in my shower, especially in the summer, to keep my hair hydrated and soft:Briogeo’s Superfoods Mega Moisture Mask with Avocado and Kiwi.
Developed as a hair health shot, this mask contains a combination of superfood nutrients such as spinach (for flavonoids that combat hair loss), avocado oil (for deep conditioning and smoothing), and kiwi extract (for antioxidant-rich and protective vitamin C).
Although this Superfoods mask’s ingredients are amazing, it’s equally important to pay attention to what it doesn’t contain. This hair mask is quite simple to use. Apply the mask evenly to your hair by massaging it in after shampooing. After ten minutes, rinse your hair and style it normally. Simple as pie.
According to the company, after two uses, your hair will feel softer and smoother. It is intended for weekly usage. But in one, I saw it.
My hair has really changed since I started using this mask in my routine last year. Even though I strive for it all year long, summer is when it truly shines.
Summer wreaks havoc on my hair, leaving it dry and brittle—a no-no for my curls—from salty beaches where I spend hours in the sun to pools that are full of chlorine. But really, using this mask is like soaking your hair in a nutritious green smoothie and enjoying all the advantages.
